OSAZE READY TO BATTLE REGGAE BOYS

Lokomotiv Moscow of Russia striker, Peter Osaze Odemwingie has confirmed that he will be available for the February 11 international friendly against The Reggae Boys of Jamaica at English lower division side, Milwall’s home ground in London. 

The Super Eagles will be boosted as Osaze’s presence, with the former La Louviere of Belgium and Lille Metropole of France star boasting of 26 Eagles caps now sure of make England date with Jamaica.

Osaze aims to get a fell of England come next month, after getting into the news a while ago with interest coming his way from Everton, the EPL club of fellow Eagles stars, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Joseph Yobo and Victor Anichebe.

He was the only over-aged player in the national under-23 side, Dream Team 4 to the Beijing 2008 Olympics in China, during which he scored in the 2-0 victory over Ivory Coast in the quarter finals. 

The Ukraine-born star made his Eagles debut at the 2004 Nations Cup in Tunisia for the Super Eagles coming on as a substitute for Nwankwo Kanu against South Africa where he scored a brace.

The mullatto striker cum winger was one of the leading scorers for Lokomotiv Moscow during the past Russian league season, in which he scored 10 goals.

However, before joining the Eagles, Osaze is already in Turkey with the Russian railway-owned club, as they embark on their winter training camp ahead of the 2009 season, with the team expected to go through the ropes the 28th of this month.
