SIENA ENTER RACE FOR OKAKA

Transfer talk around Nigerian-born Italian youth international, Stephano Chuka Okaka has entered another level, with Serie A newcomers, Siena laying a claim to his signature.

Fresh news from The Land of The Azzurri indicates that Okaka may turn his sight away from Bologna and Atalanta, following interest expressed in his signature by the top flight newcomers.

Siena sporting director, Manuel Gerolin confirmed that the club is already in talks with Okaka, and expressed optimism that they would get something neat out of the deliberations.

“He is a player who we have been tracking for a while and we have asked Roma whether we could sign him during this transfer window. It would be a loan deal, but that doesn't necessarily mean we are going to lose one of the strikers we have at the moment,” the Siena top shot stated.
